Hi,
It sounds like your teacher has not approved your project. Your idea sounds like a really good project idea to me, so I need more information to understand what the problem is. You want to work with Amoeba proteus and the blue green algaeAnabeana? Is this right? . The Science Buddies website includes an excellent guide for each step of a science fair project.

The first step is to develop a question that you can answer by doing a controlled experiment. What is your project question? You then present the idea to your teacher for approval before proceeding. In my experience, teachers don’t approve ideas for the following reasons:
1. The project is too simple for the grade level.
2. The project doesn’t comply with the written assignment (this is a physics class and you are supposed to do a physics project, for example).
3. The project does not involve doing a controlled experiment.
4. The question is not clearly stated.
5. She already approved a project idea and you want to change it after the deadline.
Please let me know why your teacher is disagreeing with you. I’m sure we can make some suggestions that will respond to her objections, so you can proceed with your project.
