Hello my name is Faith and I am a 9th grader. I am having some issues about how zinc and copper electrodes flow through a potato. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it very much. Thank you very much.

Try searching for how a battery works. The zinc and copper electrodes are two different metals and they will chemically react with an electrolyte (potato juice in your case) to form a battery.
