Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Dear Science Buddies experts,

I have a question about the materials and equipment list for my project [Burning Calories: How much energy is stored in different types of food?] I have looked at the procedure, but I do not see where the graduated cylinder is or how it should be used. Can you please assist me? Thank you.

scientist123 - I believe the graduated cylinder is just used to measure the exact amount of water used in your calorimeter. It is not part of the calorimeter apparatus.
