I don’t think acid free paper and permanent or archival paper are synonymous. Acid containing cellulose/wood pulp papers definitely have a short life as they quickly oxidize, turning brown and brittle, but there are several types of archival quality paper, of which acid free cellulose(wooe pulp) paper is just one. Other types include cotton or linen fiber paper and some types of plastic film. Of course cotton/linen fiber and plastic film papers are also acid free.

Coming up with a good longevity paper is only part of the problem of document preservation. The longevity of ink, ink reflectance, and ink sticking to the paper are other aspects. Different "papers" require different inks. There is also the problem of language. There are many languages that are no longer spoken.

I have another question. Well my teacher wants me to find types of paper. I try to search in some journal, but everytime I put "standard of paper" the result always shows about peer review of paper, something like that.

I only found type of paper in wikipedia. Is there any recommendation website about paper types and standard? Thank you in advance.

By the way, is daluang paper (javanese paper) still being used for document preservation? What kind of paper is suitable now for preservation reason beside permanence paper and daluang paper? Thank you again.

You are trying to use this blog for purposes beyond its scope, which is K-12 science projects, not college level studies where you should be able to do your own research.
