Why does the moon appear larger at different times of the night? That is our problem for our science question. We need a way to do the experiment but we don't know how to start. How should we do the experiment for this question? What should be our experiment outline and what should we need for materials?

I am not an expert but I think that the moon looks bigger because it is closer to earth and the sun is reflecting off it differently and the sun is not out at night so the moon brighter. You could set up a telescope and mark where the moon is every hour day, night or both. I don't know what to do next but I hope that helps get you started. :)

Hope that helps

Hi there,

I believe the moon looks like it has different sizes because of an optical illusion. If you took out a card board tube and looked through it, you would see that the illusion would disappear. Maybe you could do an experiment on optical illusions and try to show how the moon looking differently is really just in the mind.

Hope this helps.
