Hi again!
You should first try asking your science teachers for some lithium chloride. If you can't get any from them then you should try asking science laboratories near you. If you can't get any from them either then try ebay.com. I found one bottle with 100g for $14.95:

If you type in buy lithium chloride in google.com you sohuld get some sites but the cheapest one that I found was $17.27. However, I found this one site that sells lithium chloride, but you have to register. So, you can try this website:

Hope this helps!!!

Fisher Scientific sells 100g bottles of reagent grade lithium chloride for $11.00 USD on their web site.
You'll have to order from their canadian distributor.

I haven't checked the prices there - you'll need to register for a free account to see the catalog.
In the US, at least, you can buy from fisher with a personal credit card and ship to a home address.

Hi Becky,
How much lithium chloride do you need? If it's not all that much, you may want to try contacting a lab at UBC or another university in Vancouver. Labs are usually very generous about sharing small amounts of reagents.
Because you're working with lithium chloride and mice, I'm assuming that you've got a mentor working closely with you. If they are not at the university level, please don't hesitate to try contacting a professor of some sort. You may end up with not only reagents, but useful advice as well.
If you haven't contacted anyone at a university before, please let me know and I'll give you additional pointers.
Good luck
Linh
