is there a solid which when touches a gas turns to liquid or gas?

Hi,

Dry ice(solid carbon dioxide) sublimes (turns into gaseous carbon dioxide) in air (the causative agent is the temperature of the air, not the composition of the air). Moth balls (naphthalene) and iodine crystals will both sublime if warmed in air.

Ice melts into water and also evaporates in air, as do many other substances. In all these examples the main driving force for the phase change is a higher temperature, not the presence of a gas. To learn more research phase change in google.
