Measuring quantitative data

My question for science fair is: what factors can change a preconceived notion of beauty that might jeopardize a person's self beauty? I was going to get 100 people to rate their confidence levels on a scale of 1-10 and then use an inspirational video, discussion, story, and song to boost that rating, which they would again rate their confidence level after the trials. My teacher says I need a way to measure quantitative data, so what are possible ways I can measure some quantitative data for this project?

sanadadani,

Let me confirm your notions. Are you testing individual confidence in their appearance and how your "inspirational video, discussion, story, and song" will increase their confidence?

You may want to consider maybe examining how one's perception of their appearance effects their current overall confidence. If I understand correctly, I don't know why increasing one's ego as a result of your methods would be significant.

If you provide me with more information, I can help you refine your aims and methods so you can have a great project with a substantial amount of quantitative data.
