I have to research in a book for my project on glucose levels in food. The books in the library are too hard for me to understand. Can you please recommend some books with information that relates to my project? I would REALLY appreciate it. Thank you VERY much for your time!

Hi,
I do not know of any books in particular that are easy to read, but you might try to look under diabetes in your local bookstore to find books written for the layperson about blood sugar levels and food. However, you should also speak to a librarian. They will be able to recommend age-appropriate books for you on the topic.
Good luck!

Melissa,
I am also not sure of any books, but there are many good resources online. For example, the glycemic index is a good way to compare foods for how fast their carbohydrates are broken down by the body. The website is below.

Good luck with your searching!
