I need help writng my problem question! it has to be written in the form of How will the independent variable affect the dependent variable.. my independent variable is different types of paper towels and the dependent variable is their strengths. please help!!!

You are very close to a good problem question - just try taking what you wrote in your post and re-ordering it.
How will the independent variable affect the dependent variable.
Do
different types of paper towels
have different
strengths?
is close. Please come up with your own now and let us know what you come up with!

THANKS! Now my teacher says we need to talk to an expert. -_-. do you have any idea were I can find a paper towel expert?!?! THANKS AGAIN!

Perhaps your teacher meant that you should become something of an expert on your topic, so my suggestion is that you do some research on paper towel strength. Understand how exactly you are going to test the strength of the different brands. For instance, one method involves water droplets. Count how many droplets can held at the center of a single paper towel before it drips. That would make your experiment more quantitative, and you would able to neatly tabulate your results.
