In the following equation V= 1/2 x g x time of flight (if g= 9.8 m/s 2), how does one convert a given velocity in feet per seconds to do the math to find time of flight?

JRossLee123 - This equation from the 'paintball ballistics' experiment calculates the initial velocity of a vertical launched projectile when you know the 'time of flight' (time of launch to the time it lands at the same point). To calculate what the time of flight is when the vertical launch velocity is known, simply transpose the equation. The equation would be time-of-flight = V/(½ x g), where g=9.8m/s2.
