Project subject: THE PHYSICS BEHIND BALLET. I did background research on the physics behind different aspects of ballet. My experiment was to prove which is the best way for dancers to increase friction between their pointe shoes and the floor, decreasing slipping. My question: What to display on my display board? I have lots of information to share on the overview of the physics behind ballet, but not so much on my experiment. Could I display some of both? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING!
URGENT!!! IT IS DUE NEXT WEEK (JANUARY 10th, 2012!!!)

Hello balletgirl ,
Since I don't know what experiment you did, I can't say specifically what you should put in your display. Generally speaking, you are expected to state the question you were investigating, what you did and how you did the experiment, and what you learned. You should carefully follow the instructions given to you by your teacher or whoever is supervising the projects.
Again speaking generally, giving some background material is a good part of your display, but it shouldn't overshadow your work.
Good luck, WW

Hi Balletgirl - To add to the great advice Wendell offered, I wanted to give you the link to the Science Buddies resource on creating your Project Display Board:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... oard.shtml
You might find the "checklist" on that page especially helpful as you work on putting together your material.
