science is my most hated subject, so im doing a very easy project(so i thought) my project is about the heat conductivity of different fabrics my problem is i cant find any resources on the net, could someone help me out?

An idea for your project may be to wrap warm or hot objects such as a cups of heated water (be careful not to burn yourself!) in different types of fabric and measure the temperature change with a thermometer.

Try to make sure the object whose temperature you're measuring is constant and try to do it all at the same time, since temperature of the enviroment is not constant over time, or you can do the expirment in a place where temperature is constant, like a refridgerator.

This measurement falls under the subject of calorimetry, and could be very interesting. The retention of heat is quite a hot topic, ever here of Global Warming?

I helped a student last year that took 3rd place in his science fair with this topic.
