Do you have an experiment for which laundry detergent takes the stain out the best?

Hello, crusher,

There is a project that is somewhat related: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p039.shtml. Because this is a very popular experiment (given its practicality), you could also do a quick Google search for "laundry detergent experiment." You might find something like this: http://www.selah.k12.wa.us/soar/sciproj ... stinW.html.

If you plan to choose this experiment, remember that there are a few variables you'll have to consider, including the temperature of the water, the type of stain (e.g. food vs. mud), and what each detergent consists of (chemical-wise). You'll have to decide which variable to make the focus of your project.

If you decide you might want to do a different project, keep in mind that there are tons of ideas here: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... l?From=Tab. Once you get a general overview of a potential project, be sure to ask any other questions that you have!
