My project is as follows, I am getting six index cards and holding them in front of a car's exaust pipe and then putting the index cards under a microscope to measure particulate pollution. I need to know how to write a paper on this.

Hi, Emily,

If you would like to write a research paper about the science and reasoning behind particulate pollution, Science Buddies has a great, step-by-step guide: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... aper.shtml. It'll help you organize your ideas and provides you with a checklist to ensure that you have included all that you need.

If, however, you are referring to writing a paper more about your experiment than about background information (which would be condensed in the introduction section), then this site would probably be more helpful: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... port.shtml.

Because you didn't indicate which part of the paper you specifically need help with, I provided you with the above links to cover everything on a general level. Of course, if there is something in particular that you would like to discuss more in depth, do not hesitate to write back! Just be sure to explain your experiment in greater detail, and, if possible, write about your results. That way, I (and the other Experts here) would better understand your investigation, and thus, be able to better help you.
