Dependent Variables: It is the stuff you measure that can change due to you changing the Independent Variables. And is of the Main Interest to the Researcher.

Independent Variables: Things That you can change that Affects the Dependent Variable in a Negative or Positive Way. Examples are The Number of Students you test on.

Controlled Variable: Occurs when you only change One Variable and keep all the other stuff the same.

Hope This Helps :D

So, In my experiment

Independent Variable: Type of liquid (Water, Corn Syrup etc..)
Dependent Varibale : Density and also weight
Independent Variable : Volume (Always used the same volume for each liquid)

Are these correct?
