Border question

Hi, I have a white board. I was wondering which would look nicer, a white paper put on blue papers and have blue borders or words that are printed on blue papers and pasted on the board. I'm asking this is becasue I'm kind of running out of space on the board and I'm considering whether to put borders or not. Thanks.

Hi eagle!
Personally, I've always thought that white paper with blue borders would look better, and I've heard some judges say that it gives the board a neater look. Also, I think that blue paper by itself might be a little dark and the words might not stand out as well. But if you're running out of space, then whichever option allows you to put the vital information on your board would probably be better.
Though you might want to get another opinion- I'm not as experienced with the judging process as many other experts.
Good luck!

Hi eagle,
White paper with blue borders would look nice, but as far as the judging, the content and the depth of the experiment is of most value. As long as the board looks neat and is legible without any spelling errors you do not have to worry about anything else. Good luck on your science contest.
Take care,
Jay
