Hey.
I was wondering whether or not buckminsterfullerene can be synthetically made. If there is a process, can you tell me? Is buckminsterfullerene a naturally occurring mineral? I was reading a book by Arthur Clarke and he talked about space elevators that made travelling around the world possible with less energy. The elevator was made of buckminsterfullerene. I think it was called A Space Odyssey: 3001
Anyways, thanks.

Hi!! Your that no one took up your question before but if you will type in bukminsetfullerene into your search engine like SBC Yahoo or Google you can read up on this amazing molecule. It is probably able to be made but I would suggest that you check these sites out to determine where you go from here. I wish you good luck!!
