Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

DESPERATELY in search of a mentor for a student - must begin this summer. Will be dropped out of prestigious high school program. A few students were unable to secure mentors per the directions of this three year high school scientific research course - read articles, contact authors and one will be your mentor. Area of this research: Brain and Music - have completed one year of research, much on Alzheimer's and memory. This student has achieved A+ in course work and 800 out of 800 on the NY Chemistry Regents exam. NYC area.

As you know, finding a mentor can be challenging. The Science Buddies website has an excellent article on this topic and might give you some new ideas to try. In you geographic location (NYC), there has to be someone who can help.

In the meantime, I would encourage your child to post any questions on this website. We have volunteers with a wide variety of expertise who can help with advice on almost any type of project.
