Thermochemistry help?
Determine the amount of energy need to cool 2.3 x10^3 g of methanol from 43 °C to 24.3°C

Hello chq14,
The amount of energy that must be extracted from the methanol will be the mass of the methanol times the specific heat of methanol times the temperature change. The specific heat can be found in several reference tables.
