What was the most important thing you learned?
Well, I'm familiar with making digital art and editing photos, so this is something that just seemed interesting to me. I've always known that JPEG resolutions definitely alter how a PNG file looks. Now I got to test it out. I learned that the more you compress a file in to a JPEG, the more it will become pixelated and "blurry". I mean to say that numerous pixels will be generated in areas that are multi-colored, and they are often a shade or tone off. This makes the overall image look altered and not as clean. This helped me realize that if I want my work to be submitted as precise and smoothly colored as I intended for it to be, I must save it as either a different file type that can handle the range of CMYK or RGB colors. Or, I can just work on it as a JPEG file from the beginning that way when I save it, it does not become quite as pixelated.

The premise of this project idea was very simple to understand. There is not much to go wrong with such a straight-forward task at hand. Science Buddies could have perhaps explained how we can determine if a JPEG is "stronger" or "weaker" than other image formats, but I guess the quality of the file type is something that the experimenter has to figure out themselves. Still, it would have been nice to have an explanation of how to tell if an image is not as high quality as another.
