What is the longest straw that you have ever used to drink from? Most straws that you can buy are approximately the same length. Why is that so? There is actually a limit of how long a vertical straw can be. If it gets too high above the glass it won't work anymore. This video will show you how to build and test a really long straw. How long can you make yours? Written instructions are available on our website at https://www.sciencebuddies.org/stem-activities/long-straw?from=YouTube.
