How long does it take to build a gel electrophoresis?
Hi,
Are you interested in doing this crime scene project? This is a chemistry project based on the reaction of luminol with iron, but does not involve electrophoresis.

Both of these projects can be completed in a few hours over a week or two. If you read through the details of the procedure sections on these project, you should get a good idea of what will be involved. If you are planning to do the gel electrophoresis project, I definitely recommend getting the kit, because it would save a lot of time in shopping for the specific components required. You could spend your time focused on the analysis.
