Hi,

Are you interested in doing this crime scene project? This is a chemistry project based on the reaction of luminol with iron, but does not involve electrophoresis.

Or, are you interested in this project, which involves building and testing an electrophoresis unit?

Both of these projects can be completed in a few hours over a week or two. If you read through the details of the procedure sections on these project, you should get a good idea of what will be involved. If you are planning to do the gel electrophoresis project, I definitely recommend getting the kit, because it would save a lot of time in shopping for the specific components required. You could spend your time focused on the analysis.

Both of these are great projects. Please post again if you need more information.
