Well, I plan on doing the Briggs-Rauscher Oscillating reaction and was wondering if I could substitute Potassium Iodate with Potassium Iodide. Just a quick question for which I sort of need a quick answer.
PS: Could I also replace the sulfamic acid with sulfuric acid?

Hello Last_Hope_Left,
There are some variations on some of the components that can be used for the Briggs-Rauscher Oscillating reaction. But I don’t think any of these will work with potassium iodide because the iodate is necessary for the reaction mechanism. My suggestion is to use the components and directions listed in the project procedure.
