Hi!

I have this science project in which I have to create a machine with 2 or more simple machines and write about it in class. Can somebody explain to me how the simple machines work within my version of a mousetrap.

In other words how the different simple machines work. Such as the lever, what class of lever, where the fulcrum, load and effort force or effort is.

Thank you!

Here is the link to what my mousetrap looks like and how it works.

Hello,

I have attached a link from this website that details all of the simple machines and another about building things with simple machines. When trying to determine which simple machines are being used, I try to think about where I am trying to move my object. For example, if I wanted to move an object to the top of a table, I may use a wedge to bring it upwards.

I hope this helps! Claire
