Hello. I'm trying to do this experiment at my science fair. I almost understood how to do this experiment, but I couldn't understood where to put the material and sound meter. So please give me the exact location of the material and sound meter.
Also, please give me the photos or videos of that experiment. Thanks.....!

Hi bounjr123,

I'm assuming that you're working on the project described here:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... on#summary

According to the project procedure you should put your sound level meter at a fixed distance from your computer speaker and leave it there for all trials. Place the test sound absorbing material directly in front of the speaker and between the speaker and sound level meter.

Sorry, but I'm not aware of any photos or videos of this project. You might try an online search to see if has anyone posted photos of a similar science fair poject.

I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.

A. Norman
