Hello my name is Ashly Contreras. I am a high school senior looking through the webpage and I came across this project “How much fat is in Your Food?" As I was looking through the background section of the article it was mentioned that you wanted to see which type of fat was present in our food. This is what was said:
"But how can you find out which type of fats are present in your food? To do this, you first have to separate the fats from the food using a method called solvent extraction.”
However, as I looked through your procedure it isn't mentioned how to find those fats in the experiment. Could you explain to me how you did that? Thank you for your time and have a good rest of the day! :D :D

Check just under table 1. There are instructions as well as a slide show. Long story short, you will use acetone, so be careful :!:
