Hello,
So I'm doing a science experiment basically like the electrolyte challenge were my independent variable is the different types of drinks and the dependent variable is the conductivity reading, and I feel like my hypothesis just doesn't feel right. It's "The higher conductivity of a drink, the greater the electrolytes the drink contains". I feel like the hypothesis is lacking something or just doesn't fit the experiment and could really appreciate some advice/feedback to how to improve it or if its totally wrong. :D

Hi AC0,

First, it is great that you are questioning whether the hypothesis in the project description makes sense!

So, here's a discussion about writing appropriate hypotheses. Perhaps reading through this will help you write a more appropriate hypothesis (or two!) for how conductivity relates to the amount of electrolytes ...

Let us know what you come up with!

Good luck,
