Why does exercising (running) for 10 minutes help your memory remember more objects (items) better than watching TV for 10 minutes?

Hello eromanows,
I can't really help with your question without more information. Did you read a report that claims running helps memory? If yes, can you supply a link?

Hi,
That's an interesting question. I used google to help me find more information about it. I searched " memory improvement with running" and found many great sites that explained how any exercise increases blood flow (carrying oxygen) to the brain and that extra oxygen to the brain helps with memory.
Can you try a google search too and let me know if you can't find any good sites to hep explain that further? I can help more if you need it.

Hi, let me know if you need more help with this. Using the search of the web, you should find that increased oxygen to the brain helps your memory increase.
