Hi, for my science project, I've decided to do something on the topic of antibiotic resistance. I've done some research but I haven't decided on what I would be doing in my experiment. What are some things that I should focus on?

Hello,
Welcome to the Ask an Expert Forums! At the the top left-hand portion of this screen, there's a link called, "Science Fair Project Ideas." There, you'll find project ideas organized by topic and grade level. You should click on the topics under "Life Sciences" (microbiology will probably be the most relevant) and search for projects involving antibiotic resistance that are intended for 9th-12th graders.
Here are some examples of Science Buddies project ideas pertaining to antibiotic resistance:
1) You could explore how different strains of bacteria respond to different antibiotics:

2) You could test whether different dilutions of disinfectants affect bacterial resistance:

3) You could measure antimicrobial effectiveness with zones of inhibition:

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.
