10th International Conference on Neuroesthetics

The Tenth International Conference on Neuroesthetics, "The Importance of Being Playful," will be held at the University of California at Berkeley, May 26-27, 2012. Distinguished speakers from the fields of neuroscience, evolutionary biology, law, art, and economics have been invited to present their work on the science and culture behind play behavior. The conference aims to highlight the importance of play as a fundamental expression of humanity. The two-day conference is organized by Berkeley's Minerva Foundation, a not-for-profit, charitable foundation dedicated to promoting original and challenging approaches to the study of the visual brain.
