*There are 6 pots, 3 has sand and a slice of apple each, the other 3 has soil and a slice of apple each
*The pots are being watered every 2nd day.
Why does the apple slice in the soil turn brown and the one in the sand turns black?
Why is the apple slice in the sand heavier than the one in the soil? Is it because the one in the sold breaks off easier and some of its molecules have disintegrated?
Burying apples in soil/sand --plz help ASAP

Is your research or project designed to have you research the effect on the different apples? If it is, then these questions must be anwered by you.jenifer_van wrote:*There are 6 pots, 3 has sand and a slice of apple each, the other 3 has soil and a slice of apple each

Are the slices heavier than when they started or lighter? Maybe that will help determine if something about the sand or dirt affects the weight of the apples?
