How to form a question, procedure, and materials............

Post by eternal_corrector »

 Um, I was just wondering if you can help me form a question that can match completely with this purpose,(try making it better in words):

To test and calculate which grade level from elementary, middle, and high schools contains the best capability to retain the most information given through a series of oral and visual tests.

The materials I planned are like this: Elementary:3 boys ranging from low grades, average grades, and high grades. (Same things go for girls.) I would test 3 grade levels (3rd, 4th, and 5th) resulting that elementary equals to 18 students being tested. Adding middle school and high school still executing the same measures from elementary, would result in a total of testing 54 students. A stop watch for testing their accuracy on how fast and correct their answer is. The two things I need help with is on how to do the oral and visual tests. Do I use like a poster containing letters/numbers or picture boys and girls may like? (excluding explicit pics) Do I use a speaker (0person) to say a sentence, a letter/number, or
use sounds that are not from a languge? (Like piano keys, ring tones, and enviromental sounds?

Lastly how do I test students at a specific time and get their parent's consent? And I plan to collect data and form graphs on how correct and fast they answer. :P Please try not to strain yourself, just try doing it slowly and once again I am very sorry about on how l;ong my post is.
