finding information with Google

Postby WJClancey » Wed Nov 28, 2007 6:26 pm

Hi Zach (or Zak)!

You can use many web sites to search for on-line information, but of course many people know about Google.

I'm not sure if there is an art to entering an inquiry in Google, but I seem to get good success by just typing a very short description of my interest.

In this case, I entered "How plants absorb water," which is how you expressed your question.

The sites mentioned by Staryl come up and also quite a few more. So I thought you might want to enter the Google query yourself and see a lot of other interesting sources of information (look at the second page).
