my science fair project

ok im now working on my science fair. I need help with a few things. im working with water,baking soda, and corn starch. i just dont kno how does baking soda and water affect corn starch? please get back to this soon...

Can you tell us more about your project? What is the hypothesis? What is the procedure? It is difficult to answer your question without knowing what you are trying to do.

well in my experiment when you add the ingredents its supposed to be a milky substance but when you put into your hand its suppoed to be a solid substance. also if you move it slowly you are able to play with it like silly putty, and when its moved around fast it supposed to react and be as hard as an rock. but thats all i can really do for my project and i take science seriously. but i need a little help.
