Hi Nikkycole,
Welcome to the Ask an Expert forum.
Can you tell us more about your project? What is the hypothesis? What is the procedure? It is difficult to answer your question without knowing what you are trying to do.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: my science fair project
well in my experiment when you add the ingredents its supposed to be a milky substance but when you put into your hand its suppoed to be a solid substance. also if you move it slowly you are able to play with it like silly putty, and when its moved around fast it supposed to react and be as hard as an rock. but thats all i can really do for my project and i take science seriously. but i need a little help.

Hi,
Thanks for the extra information. I know the procedure that you are talking about. The stuff that you have made is commonly known as "oobleck". You can find a lot of information by searching the web for that term
http://www.google.com/search?q=oobleck
I think you will be able to find all the answers to your questions there, but if you have any trouble, let us know!
