Ruben's Tube

Post by i.need.help »

I was hopin to do recreate a ruben's tube but was lookin for a bit more information on the materials i would need.
I've seen it created a couple of ways one with pvc pipe and one with different types of metal pipe.
Also if anybody knows about how far apart the holes should be drilled that would be great. I plan on using gas from my classroom lab... not sure yet if it's propane or butane but i'll find out tomorrow.
What i'm most confused about is how to set up the speaker. I was planing on buying this:
http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/index.as ... rodID=1073
But i don't really know how to connect it or supply power.
Any info would be great

-Thanks

Hi i.need.help,

I'm not sure I can answer all your questions.

If you provide "'how do you build a rubens tube" to answers.com, you'll get back several rubens tubes in practice. You can use one of these as a guide of a rubens tube you can build. If you need additional info, please post again.

Thanks.
Cheers!
