Hello parker15,

The gases produced a rotting banana are carbon dioxide and methane. If you would like more information about rotting bananas, typing in a few keywords into a search engine will help.

Hi parker15,

You may also want to consider ethene/ethylene gas as well. A quick search on that gas will reveal how involved ethene/ethylene is in the rotting.
