tough a meter
you hang a leaf wih a waterfilled paper cup attached by string , will it break in the sun quicker than the shade?

I don't know the answer to your question. This sounds like a question that you could do an experiment on and find the answer for yourself. Are are starting to do this for a science fair project?

I am not exactly sure what you are asking sciencebuddies to help you with. If you do some background information, however, you should find enough information to help you form a hypothesis.
