HYDROGEN FUEL CELL + CARS

HI,
I AM MAKING A CAR THAT RUNS FROM THE ENERGY OF A FUEL CELL WHICH USES HYDROGEN. I ALSO WANT TO PLACE SOLAR PANELS ON IT FOR EXTRA ENERGY. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE THIS CAR. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME?

I HAVE TO HAND IN AN OUTLINE BY FRIDAY FEB. 18,2008

Sounds interesting - solar power is a great topic. This is not my field of study and I'm certain one of our other experts can offer some great information regarding this - - have you tried to ask your science teacher any helpful sites to search? I'm certain there are many sites related to solar power. Also another suggestion - if you are close to a nearby college - try checking with someone in one of their departments. Good Luck!

For more research and reading, I would recommend typing into a search engine (Google or http://www.goodsearch.com) something along the lines of "diy fuel cell car" or "make your own hydrogen fuel cell."

THANKS FOR GIVING ME SOME HELPFUL LINKS. I AM USING THE FIRST LINK. I NEED TO BUY THE RC HUMMER BUT I DON'T THINK THAT IT'S AVAILABLE IN CANADA. SO, MY QUESTION IS THAT CAN I JUST USE ANOTHER VEHICLE AS MY CAR.

Hi Sci Boy,
I think it would be okay if you used another car, as long as it is an RC car that runs on batteries. However, if you really want to use the RC Hummer for your experiment, you might try looking for one on eBay (http://www.ebay.ca/), since I don't know if there is a RadioShack in Canada or not.

Hi I'm bluefox609, I can't really help you, but I can tell you this, I think its a cool project, and that you should probably post it on 6-8 physical science.There might be someone there that can help you.
