Am I able to site a full magazine in my bibliography? If so how do I list it?
In my experiment I tested plants to see what kind would remove the most nitrates out of the water. I got two magazines to learn how to grow the plants hydroponically.
There were a bunch of articles in each magazine that I read. Even the ads were helpful in knowing what the different products were used for.
I am lost on this one, your help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Bibliography question
Hi,
In general, scientists reference each article individually. If they use 10 articles out of a magazine, they cite all 10. I've never heard of anyone citing an advertisement. You probably don't need to do that. It might be OK to cite the magazine as a whole, but it would be more helpful for people following in your footsteps if you can direct them to a particular article in the magazine.
I hope that helps. Good luck!
Chris

Re: Bibliography question
p.s. Someone pointed out that you have an additional question at the bottom of your message in the signature field. Is this a current question, or one that you entered when you registered your account? If it is not current, you might want to remove it from your signature field. (click "user control panel" at the top left, then click the "profile" tab, then "edit signature" on the left). If it is still an active question, we will be glad to help!
Thanks,
Chris
