Re: profesional contact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if anyone can help here are some questions for my interview-
does global warming change anything regarding to the strenght of hurricanes?
are hurricanes more deadlier now than 50 or more years ago?
What other things about hurricanes can be useful for my project?

Re: profesional contact!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi,
This page has answers to your questions.
http://www.gfdl.noaa.gov/global-warming-and-hurricanes
In short:
"It is premature to conclude that human activity--and particularly greenhouse warming--has already had a discernible impact on Atlantic hurricane activity."
"It is likely that greenhouse warming will cause hurricanes in the coming century to be more intense on average and have higher rainfall rates than present-day hurricanes."
"PDI is a combined measure of Atlantic hurricane frequency, intensity, and duration... PDI [has] risen sharply since the 1970s, and there is some evidence that PDI levels in recent years are higher than in the previous active Atlantic hurricane era in the 1950s and 60s." (see figure 2).
I do not know what requirements you have for a "professional contact" but perhaps you could attribute these answers to the web page's author, Tom Knutson.

Good luck,
Chris
