Hi amberlover101,

Can you tell us more about your project and what you need help with? Are you trying to answer this question with your experiment, or are you trying to do research on the topic? I think you will find that in either case, you will want to define what you mean by 'enough'. Enough to keep them healthy? Enough to prevent obesity? A certain amount per day? ..etc.

Anyway, once you give us some more information we will be happy to help.

Here's some information on recommendations, but it appears to be for adults and not kids: http://berkeley.edu/news/media/releases ... _diet.html

Here's a page that says 30 min/day: http://childcare.about.com/cs/caregonew ... ercise.htm

However, here's an article on a study that suggests that even an hour is not enough: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 100421.htm

Hope that helps!

Dear amberlover101,

Melissa B made an excellent point about defining "enough." Once you have decided what "enough" means, you should think about how you are going to answer your question. It sounds like you're interested in a survey experiment. Is that correct? If so, think about the types of questions you might like to ask the people you are interviewing. Think about what range of ages you want to include. Keep in mind that not all forms of exercise are equivalent. For example, a kid on a volleyball team may not be exerting themselves as much as a kid on the track team or swim team (much as i love volleyball). If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I hope this helps!

Would this be a research or test question? You want the question to be a little more specific.

For example:
Do kids on earth get enough exercise to keep the mhealthy.
