quangnguyen,

Variables are defined in:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... bles.shtml
The project is defined in:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p033.shtml
The controlled (fixed) variable is, I believe, the volume of the water. The independent variable is the type of water.
Cheers!

Hello:

Have you tried the resources in the project bibliography? (https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p033.shtml) Also, try using your favorite search engine with "supercooled water", I think you'll find some interesting material! Best wishes.

Hi quangnguyen,

As I mentioned in my earlier post, variables are defined in:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... bles.shtml
The project is defined in:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p033.shtml
The controlled (fixed) variable is, I believe, the volume of the water. The independent variable is the type of water.

Do these work for you?
Cheers!

Hi quangnguyen,

Oops, my apology. I read the postings in the wrong order and answered an old question. The new question relates to:
1. research websites
2. bibliography

Is that correct?

I probably won't get to this until tomorrow, which may be past your deadline.
Cheers!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercooling has references and a bibliography. I found this by putting Keith's earlier suggestions into google. These references and sources are some of the definitive works in this area. They aren't at the K-5 grade level though. Not sure you are going to find may references for K-5 on this subject.
