Hi larryhopper,

We don't answer homework questions on this board. Here is some info I found about this: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1152806 and this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moment_of_inertia). You should read in your physics textbook about moment of inertia and angular momentum. If this isn't a homework question and is a science project, could you please give us a more detailed question so we know best how to help you? Do you need help writing your question, hypothesis, or does this have something to do with how to do the experiment?

In the meantime, take a look at "How to do a science fair project" in our project guide to help you get started: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... l?From=Tab. It gives you a step by step guidance on how to do a science project.

We also have a similar project idea that has to do with skateboards, in case you are interested: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p018.shtml

Good luck and let us know if you have other questions!
