Hi,

Para Red is an azo dye mainly used in printing and dyeing texxtiles. Its use in food products is banned due to toxicity.

Unfortunately I do not know what you mean by Flourescent Dye. Many chemicals are fluorescent, so I cannot provide information on that half of your question. This does not appear to be a standard Science Buddies experimeent. If you can identify the second chemical, we will look into it.

Best of luck complete ling your project!
