Hi,

Welcome to science buddies. Here is information on the science buddies website about pH:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... cale.shtml

Here is a project idea on pH.
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... Q&from=TSW

Here is a site that describes a pH project using plants:
http://www.fofweb.com/Onfiles/SEOF/Scie ... s/4-34.pdf

Here is an example of a scientific reference reporting results of a study on microorganisms, in this case the bacteria growing in a cow’s rumen. It’s a real literature reference, but read it and try to understand what the authors were doing:

http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_o ... 525f44248f

I would not recommend doing a pH project on animals as this would require special approval.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any other questions about doing your science project.
