bubbles in chocolate

Post by lcmacdonald »

My daughter would like to do her science fair project on how they get the bubbles in Aero chocolate bars. We know a method of doing this but don't know if it is a suitable topic for a science fair. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hi,

Here is some background info on Aero Choclate

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aero_(chocolate)

Here is the original patent on the processs:

If this subject fascinates you I see no reason it is not a good science fair idea, though it will probably be considered an engineering project rather than a science project for fair classification purposes.

It sounds like a yummy subject! Have fun with it.

Best regards,

Barrett has given you some good guidance here.

To aid you in trying to figure out how to turn this into an Engineering project, refer to this information on Science Buddies:
