How gender affects brightness

Hi,

We need a clearer statement of your question, and where the project idea came from. I cannot tell whether you are asking about visual preference by gender or singing voice brightness by gender, or something else. As far as I can tell Science Buddies does not have experiments in any of these areas.

Here is a page on color synthesis. At the bottom is an interactive color synthesis tool that can be used to create colors from brightness, hue, and saturation. One approach to your question would be to take a survey of your subjects by asking them to construct their favorite color using the tool, then recording the parameters for the color they choose:
