I've looked through many many many science fair projects but none of them seem to interest me .
So can someone just suggest ANYTHING not too hard and the materials can be found in a local hardware store.

Hello and welcome to the forums!
Have you tried sciencebuddies topic selection wizard? https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... gister.php
Have you looked through all of the ideas in the Project Ideas area? https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... l?From=Tab
What are your interests? What do you like to do? If you give us something to work with, we can try and help, but you should check out the resources above first.
Happy hunting!

Re: [URGENT]Science Fair IDEA!
Hi,
It's great that you want to do your own science project!
Seeing as to how you are interested in chemicals or mechanics, I would go to the physical science section of the second link that Keith pointed out. Remember, even as you go through the ideas in the suggested projects section, you never have to completely abide by those project guidelines. It's great to put your own twist on a project, or to bring in something you are interested in.
I know that science projects are ten times as fun when I am interested in them rather then them being assigned. You'll miss out on a lot if you simply carry through with somebody else's idea because you might not be interested in it.
Just look over the links again and see something you like to explore; it doesn't have to be the exact project that's mentioned- it's only there to help you. Aside from that, is there anything more specific that you might be interested in the fields of chemicals or mechanics? Something you've always wanted to do but never got a chance to? Don't worry if you think a project is too easy or too hard, I'm sure we can help you. Just dig into yourself.
Hope this helps,
Manjinder
